More than 39 Years of Providing Superior Veterinary Care to the Levittown PA Region

Founded in 1977 by second generation veterinarian Dr. John C. Widenmeyer, Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital has a clear vision. We strive to offer the best veterinary care in the region. Unbound by the cookie-cutter rules and guidelines like those at the larger corporate veterinary hospitals and specialty practices, Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital provides customized care. Another trademark is our ability to give practical, easily understood, and budget-appropriate recommendations.

“Here’s my viewpoint. Every pet owner should always be able to ask their vet, ‘If this was your pet, what would you do?’ and trust that they will get a direct response. Here at Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital, you can count on getting an honest and thoughtfully considered response to that question from every member on staff.” ~ Dr. John C. Widenmeyer, V.M.D.

A High-Tech Animal Care Facility in an 1880’s Buck County-Style Barn

Covering more than four acres and located on a former farm and mill site, Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital offers a tranquil, park-like setting. Adjacent to the Widenmeyer Georgian family home, the hospital is located in a historical Buck County-style “bank barn.” While offering the comfort of homey surroundings, the hospital’s facility features the latest technology in animal care.

Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), an organization that helps to set the standards for high-quality veterinary practices and facilities. View this video for more information on AAHA Accreditation.

"I want to express my sincerest gratitude for the care Dr. Loeffler and Dr. Snyder, along with the entire staff, gave my Barley girl over the last few years. Barley was a very sick kitty and with your help she was able to live a happy and comfortable life. Thank you."
